Allied Cleveland Tradeswomen (ACT) is a non-profit organization founded by union tradeswomen. ACT is devoted to assisting women who have entered the construction field. One of the ways we accomplish this assistance is by providing scholarships for female apprentices. We also meet socially, bringing together apprentices with journey level tradeswomen who have information to share with women starting their careers.ACT also encourages all tradeswomen to be active in their unions.
